Over 70 golfers teed off on Friday, October 7 at the Palms Golf Course, Lucknow for the LLOYD Business Today Pro-Am of Champions 2017.  The 18 hole championship golf course is designed by the famous UK based golf course designer Dr Martin Hawtree and is spread over 200 acre.

The fairways have Bermuda grass and the greens are laid out with tip dwarf grass. The course has a touch of famous links type design with deep bunkers and large undulating greens. The water bodies and well placed fairway bunkers add to the beautiful playing conditions of the course.

Played on the Stableford format with Double Peoria handicap system, the hot afternoon witnessed keen golfing action with players vying for both individual as well as team prizes.

The day's action culminated with the prize distribution ceremony followed by dinner.

The winning team comprising Prem Prakash, Dr. Apurva Mehra (Surya Dental Centre), Ashish Mitra and Neeraj Gupta (Data Team), with a combined score of 104 points, was crowned as Lucknow Lancers and also earned a place in the Pro-Am National finals to be held in Delhi in February 2017.
 
The team comprising Ajeet Singh (Ozone India), Vikram Bhargava (Uma Paper & Alllied Industries), Deepak Kumar Bhalla and Raman Batra (Mohan Brothers) finished Runners Up with 103 points.

In the Individual prizes, Anupam Mittal (ARINEM Consultancy Services) was the winner with 36 points in the 0-14 handicap category and Neeraj Gupta (Data Team) won with a super effort of 37 points in the 15- 24 handicap category. The Individual winners will travel to Thailand with individual winners of the other cities for the LLOYD BT International Leg.
