Renault hikes prices of three models

French auto major Renault has hiked the prices of its three vehicles in India, including compact sports utility vehicle Duster, by one per cent to partially offset rising input costs.

With the excise duty reduction and change in government lifting consumer sentiment, leading carmakers posted higher sales in June.
"The one mega watt solar power plant has been set up at an investment of Rs 10.3 crore and was commissioned this month," the company said in statement.
"We have decided that India will be an export hub for Ford. We are exporting to over 50 countries from here and are increasing it overtime," Mulally said.
In the domestic market, Hyundai sold 33,514 units last month as compared to 30,610 units in June 2013, up 9.5 per cent.
The 2014 Ford Fiesta will be available in three options-Ambiente, Trend and Titanium, all powered by a 1.5 litre diesel engine, the company said in a statement.
The company, which entered as many as 18 global markets in the past one-and-a-half years, is confident that its motorcycles will be accepted well in the US.
Domestic passenger car sales grew by 3.08 per cent to 1,48,577 units last month as compared with 1,44,132 units in May 2013.
