As Apple's latest offering, the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C, goes on sale in the country on Friday, mobile operators are trying to win over customers with some special offers.

With Airtel launching special tariffs, Reliance Communication (RCom) is trying to be innovative through introduction of bundling plans.  RCom will offer a monthly bundling plan where consumers will have to pay a specific amount per month for two years, which will include the iPhone cost and the monthly usage cost. Under this scheme, the iPhone 5C 16GB variant can be purchased by paying Rs 2,599 per month for 24 months and the iPhone 5S 16GB for Rs 2,999 for the same time duration.

Users will not receive a separate monthly bill as the plan includes unlimited local and STD calls, 3000 text messages per month and 3G data. Only international outgoing and international roaming charges will be billed to the user.

But those looking to buy a higher capacity iPhone will have to pay the difference at the time of purchase. One will have to make a down payment of Rs 11,600 for the 32GB variant for iPhone 5C, Rs 10,992 for the 32GB iPhone 5S and Rs 19,992 for the 64GB iPhone 5S along with the above mentioned plan. One can also buy the phone by making the full payment.

On the other hand, Airtel has only launched special monthly tariff plans where they claim to offer a special discount of up to 50 per cent on monthly rentals. The consumer saves up to Rs 12,000 per year through this plan.
