Assets Under Management of Equity oriented schemes increased by 4.99 per cent in July 2020 registering net outflow of Rs 3,845 crore compared to net inflows of Rs 225 crore in June.
AUM of Income or Debt funds increased by 7.49 per cent month-on-month and 14.04 per cent year-on-year. The category witnessed net inflow of Rs 86,643 crore during the month.
AUM of hybrid schemes increased by 0.58 per cent in July and registered net outflows of Rs 7,301 crore as against inflows of Rs 356 crore in the previous month.
AUM of Solution Oriented Schemes increased by 4.51 per cent on a monthly basis and 15.35 per cent on yearly basis. The category witnessed net inflows of Rs 58 crore in July.
AUM of Gold ETF increased by 19.19 per cent month-on-month and 154.71 per cent year-on-year and this category registered net inflows of Rs 921 crore compared to net inflows of Rs 494 crore in June.
AUM of the mutual fund industry increased by 6.4 per cent month-on-month to Rs 27.12 lakh crore in July. The month saw net inflows of Rs 89,813 crore against Rs 7,266 crore in June 2020.
Domestic mutual funds sold equities worth Rs 6,117.61 crore while FIIs pumped in Rs 8,590.13 crore in Indian equities in July.
