Agra witnessed a dramatic scene after a stretch of road caved in following rainfall, leaving behind a massive crater in the middle of Karmayogi Colony in Kamla Nagar. Locals described the giant pit as a “Paatal ka raasta” as questions were raised over road construction quality and civic preparedness. No vehicle was passing through the spot when the road collapsed, helping avert a major accident. The incident triggered panic in the area, with residents demanding immediate repairs. Amid the chaos, Samajwadi Party leader Nitin Kohli reached the spot and climbed into the crater using a ladder, taking a symbolic dig at the city’s development.
