Delhi has rolled out an extensive Heat Action Plan as temperatures continue to rise across the city, with authorities stepping up efforts to protect residents from extreme weather conditions. Special vehicles have been deployed across 13 districts to provide on-ground assistance, while essential items such as caps and handkerchiefs are being distributed to help people cope with the heat. Delhi DM Rekha Gupta emphasised that safeguarding public health remains the administration’s top priority, highlighting a coordinated response to minimise heat-related risks.
