Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India's remarkable digital transformation over the last decade, driven by technology and innovation. From building the world's largest digital identity system to creating one of the largest real-time payment networks through UPI, India has emerged as a global digital leader. Modi noted that nearly half of the world's real-time digital transactions now take place in India, with UPI expanding internationally to locations such as the Eiffel Tower and Paris Airport in France. He also showcased DigiLocker, one of the world's largest digital document platforms, enabling over 700 million users to securely access authentic documents anytime, anywhere. The Prime Minister said these digital public goods are powering financial inclusion, education, healthcare, agriculture and governance at an unprecedented scale.
