Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a striking revelation about the BrahMos missile project in Lucknow. Explaining why the state government provided 200 acres of land free of cost, Yogi said national security takes precedence over everything else. He recalled how people questioned the decision until they witnessed the power of the BrahMos missile firsthand. Yogi also highlighted the economic benefits, stating that the BrahMos facility could generate ₹135 crore annually in GST revenue for Uttar Pradesh once full-scale production begins. He further revealed that UP's Defence Manufacturing Corridor has already attracted investment proposals worth ₹35,000 crore, surpassing initial estimates and transforming the state into a major defence manufacturing hub.
