Japanese multinational company, Toshiba, has announced the appointment of Tomohiko Okada as its new Managing Director for Toshiba India, a 100 per cent subsidiary of the Group.
Okada who has been working with Toshiba for over three decades will replace Kenji Urai. Okada will lead Toshiba India to the path of next level of growth across group's storage, social infrastructure, and energy businesses in the country.
Okada joined Toshiba Corporation in 1983, and since then has held a number of global senior management roles. He has been associated with the Indian operations for 25 years, dating back to 1989 when he managed Group's operations in Delhi for 5 years.
