Arnab Goswami quits Times Now; best twitter reactions

Senior journalist and Times Now editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami has reportedly resigned from the Times Group. He announced his decision to resign at an editorial meeting on Tuesday, according to reports.

Goswami used to anchor Times Now's prime time news show 'The News Hour' and special interview show Frankly Speaking.

According to reports, Goswami might start a news channel with politician and entrepreneur Rajeev Chandrasekhar and American media baron Rupert Murdoch.

Goswami started his career at The Telegraph in Kolkata. Within a year, in 1995, he joined NDTV where he was one of the more prominent faces along with Vikram Chandra and Rajdeep Sardesai.  He later joined Times Now as its Editor-in-Chief in 2006.

Soon after the news of Arnab's resignation came out, microblogging site Twitter was abuzz with reactions.
