Xiaomi's Mi4i launched in India at Rs 12,999, Asus ZenFone 2 at Rs 19,999  Xiaomi has announced the Mi4i at Rs 12,999, which will be available on Flipkart starting April 30. On the other hand, the Asus ZenFone 2 has also been launched in India. The Asus Zenfone 2 (32 GB variant) is priced at Rs 19,999.

HDFC Bank Q4 net rises 21% to Rs 2,807 crore  After providing Rs 1,338.4 for taxation, the bank earned a net profit of Rs 2,806.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, an increase of 20.6 per cent over the quarter ended March 31, 2014.

Rupee plunges to over 3-month low of 63.32  The Indian rupee plummeted against the US dollar on renewed demand for the American currency from banks and importers amid foreign capital outflows in the equity market.

BSNL offers unlimited free calling at night from landline 
The calling scheme for its landline users will allow them to call any landline and mobile number across service providers in India from May 1 and will be available from 9 pm to 7 am, the company said.

Clarity on MAT issue likely in Finance Bill
  The government is likely to clarify at the time of passage of Finance Bill in Parliament that MAT will not be applicable on foreign portfolio investors belonging to nations with whom India has double tax avoidance pacts.
