India is accelerating its shift toward ethanol-powered mobility and machinery, with Tata, Mahindra, Toyota, Hyundai and others developing flex-fuel engines. From vehicles and construction equipment to agriculture and power generation, ethanol could reduce fossil-fuel imports, support farmers, lower emissions and strengthen India’s energy independence under the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
