Shudh Desi Romance gets a good response at box office on day one

Maneesh Sharma's latest romantic flick 'Shudh Desi Romance' garnered a good response on its first day at box office. The movie witnessed a decent opening at many places and even picked up quickly at places where the opening was slow.

According to boxofficeindia.com, Shudh Desi Romance collected around 6-6.25 crore nett on its first day. The film did very well in Delhi/UP, East Punjab and Rajasthan while other areas were lower comparatively when compared with these circuits but still good overall.

The good opening day number indicates that the movie would do a good business during the weekend too.

The movie, starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra, Vaani Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor, talks of a generation that is scared of commitment, but still values it.
