ASUS MEMO PAD ME172V
The affordable MeMo Pad is an Android Jelly Bean tablet with a 1Ghz processor and a 7-inch 1024x600p display. The RAM is good at 1GB. Then there is 8 GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB. The other features are a 1MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4270mAh battery.

This has a larger 10.1-inch HD tablet with IPS display and is powered by 1.5GHz dual-Core processor with 1GB RAM. Another Android Jelly Bean device, this has 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded using a microSD card. The company claims the 7600mAh battery is good for six hours of video and a standby of 15 days. It comes with a 3MP rear camera and a VGA front camera, but lacks Bluetooth connectivity.

The FunBook Pro is a steal at this price as it has a 10.1-inch capacitive touch display good for watching movies, playing games and browsing the web. The Android IceCream Sandwich tablet is powered by 1.2GHz CortexA8 single core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It supports 3G dongles and that makes it good for Indian conditions.
