London-based Woodworker David Linley ingeniously captures the timelessness of a fond memory in his new limited-edition collection of keepsake boxes.
     Print Edition: Sep 15, 2013

London-based Woodworker David Linley ingeniously captures the timelessness of a fond memory in his new limited-edition collection of keepsake boxes. Each piece has a distinct personality, enhanced with a nickel, silver and mother-of-pearl finish and high-gloss veneers. Consider this endearing piece by the designer. Limited only to 10 boxes, this Ebony Pearl edition has a striking mother-of-pearl inlay in the shape of a peacock, a Macassar ebony veneer and a soft faux-leather interior in vibrant blue. The shapes of the internal compartments and trays are inspired by English garden designs, while teardrop-shaped feet in brilliant nickel mirror the geometric inlays on the regal bird's plumage.
