There are a few surprise entrants in the Top 10. Act II Microwave Popcorn is at No. 1. It is a relatively unknown player trying to establish itself in a completely new product category with no known big brands in the space.
Tata Nano is at No. 5. Tata Motors seems to be once again trying to position the Nano as a comfortable, safe and fuel-efficient car for India's teeming middle class. In a way, it is hoping to put the disappointment of a tardy initial response to the Nano launch behind it.
