Costly compacts
I am surprised that so many companies are bringing out compact mirrorless cameras. Aren't they too expensive for the Indian market? I know that some of them are very good, but I still find the segment overpriced. Hope these cameras become more affordable in the future, even at the cost of some features. - Ajay Sharma, New Delhi

Software pressure
With reference to "Chip that 'funs' a car" (November 2012), every middle-class family today covets a car - a car is no longer a status symbol but a necessity in our present lifestyles. I look forward to the day when cars come with a program to keep a check on tyre pressure. The right tyre pressure not only enhances life of the tyres but also saves fuel. -  Mahesh Kapasi, New Delhi
