WHAT ABOUT THE SMALLER TABLETS?
There are so many tablets in the market now. Could you do a cover story on the best 7-inch Tablets that are currently available in India, namely the Samsung Galaxy Plus, Lenovo Ideapad A1, Acer Iconia A100, Reliance 3G Tab, HCL Me X1, iBall Slide and the XTab. It would be really illuminating to learn about the CPU, GPU, RAM, ROM, Android version, price, and hardware differences among these. - Sandip Roy, Via Email

We did a comprehensive cover story on tablets in the December issue. Some 7-inch tablets were included in the story. But thanks for your suggestion-and wait for a story on the comparative merits of 7-inch tablets.

THE WAIT FOR NOVELTY
From the days when watching a 3D movie was a rare treat, we are now at a stage where this amazing technology is now in the living rooms of our homes ("2D to 3D", December 2011). But the problem is the lack of content. We bought our LCD television sets and waited all these years for highresolution content. Only now are we getting channels in hi-defition and we know different TV watching has become. Hopefully, content providers, especially TV serial and movie makers, will start churning out 3D stuff for our homes. Then surely, 3D will become a true TV phenomenon. - Rupin Bhandari, Dehradun

IMAGINE, A MOBILE LIFE SAVER!
When I read the story on mobile operating systems ("What the new mobile OS is all about", December 2011), I realised that perhaps the mobile phone can become a weapon against terrorism. Someone can invent a phone that, perhaps with electronic waves, can smell out tRDX and other explosive materials, and determine its exact location. These can be used by investigative agencies and they can be placed at various spots-crowded places, trains, airports, on buses, etc. A beep or a red light can signal the presence of explosives. Such a mobile, if manufactured, can help the authorities locate and defuse bombs and help save innocent human lives. - Mahesh Kapasi, New Delhi

COVER UP
Is it really necessary to have naked girls on the cover of a tech magzine? Looks like a cheap trick for sales to me. - Dwij Mishra, via email

PRICELESS!
I look forward to getting every issue of G&G. When will you add the conversion to dollars of all rupee pricing? That would be useful. - Nelson (sureowl@gmail.com)

ON THE INDIAN SHOP SHELF
I've been reading G&G for the past few months. The reviews are all good but I have a small suggestion. Please mention where we can get the products in India. I tried to buy the Nopopo battery and the Ubislate but their official websites are overseas. Please mention the launch dates for India. - Sattish L, Coimbatore
