The IdeaPad A10 is yet another hybrid that qualifies to be a budget tablet. Running Android Jelly Bean, it can be used as a laptop or even a tablet. The IdeaPad A 10 is equipped with a 10.1 inch touch display but just about average viewing angles. When help in the laptop mode, titling the display a bit more washes the screen.

The touch response is however good. While the touch display is primarily for the tablet mode, the screen is accompanied with a keyboard and a trackpad for it to be used as a laptop. Lenovo has customized the keyboard by adding home, multitasking and option keys. There is a dedicated 'search' button as well, a basic of any Android device. Android operating system isn't designed for laptops but this machine works well. One can successfully do all the regular work and there isn't any lag in the performance either. Browsing the web was a smooth experience. So was handling documentation.

But this machine starts to slow down while multitasking. It is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Rockchip RK3188 Cortex-A9 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Idea-Pad A10 can be connected over Wi-Fi but it failed to work when we plugged in USB dongles. Lenovo has worked on the UI to make it user friendly. The IdeaPad A10 offers close to 6 hours of battery with continuous usage including video playback.
