The benchmark BSE Sensex fell by over 223 points on Friday to close at 28,442.10, its weakest closing in over two weeks, mainly dragged down by heavy selling in tech and healthcare sectors. The 30-share index has now lost over 602.34 points in the last three days after rising to 29,000-levels on Monday. Here are the five stocks which made news today:

TCS

Shares of the country's largest software exporter TCS on Friday fell by over 4 per cent, leading to an erosion of Rs 21,349 crore from its market valuation, after it reported 27 per cent dip in March quarter net profit impacted by a one-time Rs 2,628-crore employee bonus.

RIL

Reliance Industries (RIL) announced its Q4 results on Friday after market hours. The shares of the company closed at Rs 926.85 apiece, down by 0.06 per cent on BSE.

Mindtree

The Bengaluru headquartered IT company announced its Q4 results on Thursday. The firm registered a 31 per cent growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 128.7 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, driven by expansion in business across all platforms.  The Mindtree stock closed at Rs 1295.55, down 6.88 per cent on the BSE.

IndusInd Bank

The Mumbai-based bank reported 25.1 per cent rise in its net profit for the fourth quarter to Rs 495.27 crore. Its shares closed at Rs 875.80, down by 6.14 per cent on the BSE.

Tata Motors

Tata Motors has not performed well since the end of January, but that will not prevent investors from subscribing to the rights issue that commenced on Friday. The rights issue has been priced at Rs 450 per share. The Tata Motors stock closed 0.96 per cent lower at Rs 535.20 on the BSE.
