Quantum Asset Management Company launched an open-ended debt fund named Quantum Dynamic Bond Fund (QDBF).
The investment objective of this fund is to generate income and capital appreciation through active management of portfolio consisting of short term and long term debt and money market instruments.
The new fund offer will close on May 13 and then reopens on May 25.
Murthy Nagarajan, head fixed income, Quantum AMC will manage the fund.
According to Nagarajan, with the volatile equity market and high interest rate this is the most favourable time for investors to invest in QDBF.
Long term bond yields are on downward trajectory, making risk-return profile favourable for bonds.
The fund will primarily invest in government securities and PSU bonds/ instruments which are rated AAA /AA and so forth, thereby minimising credit risk.
The fund offers growth, dividend payout and dividend reinvestment options with no lock in period; therefore investors are free to withdraw investment anytime.
