Jack Ma, the Co-founder of the Chinese retail behemoth Alibaba, is officially stepping down as company chairman on September 10 -- the day the charismatic entrepreneur turns 55. As part of his post-retirement plan, the former English teacher-turned-businessman plans to spend a good amount of his vast fortunes (worth over $41 billion) on his first love -- education. Ma is leaving his multi-billion dollar e-commerce conglomerate in the hands of his trusted partners -- Chief Executive Officer Daniel Zhang and Co-founder and Vice-Chairman Joseph Tsai.

Chandrayaan 2: ISRO locates Vikram lander's location; trying to establish contact

In what seems to be a major breakthrough, ISRO has found out the exact location of the Vikram lander, which had lost contact with the space agency just 2.1 km above the Moon's surface on Saturday, ISRO Chairman K Sivan has said. The Chandrayaan 2 Orbiter has sent thermal image of the Vikram lander, identifying its exact location on the Moon, the India Space Research Organisation chief confirmed. The space agency, however, has not been able to establish communication with the Vikram lander yet.

Baba Ramdev-led Patanjali to infuse Rs 3,438 crore in Ruchi Soya to settle dues

Baba Ramdev-led Patanjali Ayurved, which got the NCLT approval last week to acquire Ruchi Soya in an insolvency process, will infuse over Rs 3,438 crore as equity and debt to settle dues of creditors of the debt-laden firm. Ruchi Soya informed the exchanges that the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai in its order dated September 6 approved Patanjali's Rs 4,350 crore resolution plan with certain modifications that were accepted by the bidder.
