PMC Bank scam: HDIL promoters write to ED, RBI, FinMin; urge them to sell attached assets to repay loans

In the latest development in the Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative Bank scam, HDIL promoters and prime accused Rakesh Wadhawan and Sarang Wadhawan, have requested investigating agencies to sell their attached assets at fair market value, monetise them and repay loans availed of by HDIL from PMC Bank. The letter dated October 16 has also been marked to the Ministry of Finance and Reserve Bank of India.

The centre is doing "too little, too late", says Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on the measures announced by Narendra Modi government to tackle the economic slowdown in India. Bharti Airtel selects Ericsson's 5G solution to boost network performance

Swedish networking and telecommunications company Ericsson on Wednesday said it has entered into an agreement with Bharti Airtel to deploy its 5G-ready Cloud Packet Core in the telco's pan-India core network. Jio asks TRAI to slap penalties on rival telcos accusing them of cheating

Reliance Jio Infocomm has accused telcos like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Ide and BSNL of 'cheating'. It claims these companies were  masquerading landline numbers as mobile numbers to unfairly earn interconnect revenue. Airtel has denied the charge saying Reliance was trying to misguide TRAI even as consultation process on interconnect usage charge continues.
