Maruti Suzuki vehicle exports cross 20 lakh milestone

Auto giant Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) announced on Saturday, February 27, that the firm has achieved the milestone of 2 million (20 lakh) cumulative product exports. The country's largest automaker crossed the mark after a batch of its products comprising S-Presso, Swift and Vitara Brezza left the Mundra Port in Gujarat for South Africa.

GoAir receives Rs 800 crore credit line from banks

Low cost carrier GoAir, owned by Indian business conglomerate Wadia Group, has reportedly received a Rs 800 crore credit line from banks. The bank credit will help the airline to ease financial strain caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the fresh credit line, GoAir will not require to restructure its loans.

Reliance to enter mobility with skyTran acquisition

Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited (RSBVL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries, has acquired additional equity stake in the US-based technology company skyTran Inc for $26.76 million (around Rs 196.94 crore). The Mukesh Ambani-led company has increased its shareholding to 54.46 per cent on a fully diluted basis.

Biocon Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar Shaw on Sunday hit out at the government capping COVID-19 vaccine price at Rs 250 at private hospitals, saying vaccine companies "feel betrayed" as it is too low to sustain. Reacting to a report that the health ministry has fixed Rs 250 per shot at private hospitals and health centres, she tweeted, "We r (sic) crushing instead of incentivising the vaccine industry."

14 missions lined up for launch in 2021: ISRO Chairman

ISRO has lined up 14 missions for launch in 2021, including the space agency's first unmanned mission later this year, its Chairman K Sivan said here on Sunday.
