Coronavirus crisis: WHO says more than 100,000 cases reported daily
The head of the World Health Organization says more than 100,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported worldwide each day over the past two weeks mostly in the Americas and South Asia and countries that have curbed transmissions must stay alert to the possibility of resurgence. Tedros noted a new cluster of cases in Beijing, which went more than 50 days without a new case of COVID-19, and said the origin of that new series of cases is under investigation.

It became India's best selling car in 2004 and has not been dethroned since, according to a company statement.

Petrol, diesel prices increased for 10th day straight; fuel rates up by nearly Rs 6
Petrol and diesel prices have been increased across the country for the 10th consecutive day. Petrol prices were up by 47 paise while diesel rates were increased by 57 paise. In these 10 days, petrol rates have seen an increase of Rs 5.47 and diesel prices have seen an increase of Rs 5.80 per litre. After a break of 82 days, oil marketing companies have adjusted retail rates beginning June 7.
