Coronavirus: MHA asks railways to run at least 100 special trains daily for migrants
The Home Ministry on Monday asked the Railways to start running at least 100 special trains per day for the next few weeks to ensure the return of migrant workers to their native places, an official said. No proposal to cut salary of central govt employees, clarifies Finance Ministry
The Finance Ministry on Monday refuted reports that claimed the Centre plans to slash salaries of its employees as the coronavirus crisis batters the country's already fragile economy. "There is no proposal under consideration of government for any cut whatsoever in the existing salary of any category of central government employees," said the ministry on Twitter.
China's passenger car retail sales in April fell 5.6% from a year earlier to 1.43 million, the China Passenger Car Association said on Monday, as the country gradually recovers from the coronavirus. The association said during an online briefing that the overall passenger car sales trend is showing a quick recovery from the virus-induced low.

Coronavirus: Twitter to warn users about misleading COVID-19 tweets
Twitter announced Monday it will warn users when a tweet contains disputed or misleading information about the coronavirus. The new rule is the latest in a wave of stricter policies that tech companies across are rolling out to confront an outbreak of virus-related misinformation on their sites. Twitter will take a case-by-case approach to how it decides which tweets are labelled and will only remove posts that are harmful, company leaders said Monday.
