Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday launched the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme transferring the first instalment of Rs 2,000 each to over one crore farmers, as he slammed the opposition alleging they "remember farmers once in 10 years -- just before elections".

Bharti Airtel to conduct trial of Nokia's 5G-ready telecom gear

TRAI urges distributors to ensure a channel appears only at one place, warns against non-compliance

347 infrastructure projects show cost overruns worth over Rs 3.2 lakh crore

As many as 347 infrastructure projects, each worth Rs 150 crore or more, have shown cost overruns to the tune of over Rs 3.2 lakh crore owing to delays and other reasons, a Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation report said.
