Samsung Galaxy Note 9 leaked in a pre-booking advertisement
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 price has been leaked in Indonesia and is already available for pre-booking. The Note 9 with 128GB internal storage is priced at IDR 13.5 million which roughly translates to Rs 64,300. The 512GB storage variant is priced at IDR 17.5 million which goes up to Rs 83,400. According to a report by Gsmarena, the new information was sent from an anonymous tipster. However, the prices fall in line with previous leaks from popular tipster Roland Quandt  (@rquandt). According to the tipster, the highest variant of the Galaxy Note 9 will sell at a price of 1250 euros which crosses the Rs 1 lakh mark.

Apple to develop new DND app to resolve issue with TRAI
For over two years, American multinational technology company, Apple Inc., and regulator of the telecommunication sector in India, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), have been locking horns over the introduction of TRAI's Do Not Disturb (DND) App on the formers popular smart-phone, the iPhone. On July 19, TRAI released the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018, under which, the regulatory body proposed to derecognise mobile-devices that bar installation of TRAI's DND App, a platform whereby users can report and block unsolicited messages.

With rising incidents of fake news being spread through the popular messaging platform, WhatsApp, a team of Indian students and a professor have now decided to take matters into their own hands. The team, headed by Ponnurangam Kumaraguru, associate professor of computer science at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-D), Delhi, is developing an app to verify the genuineness of messages circulated on WhatsApp. The Indraprastha Institute is a research-oriented university focusing on computer science and allied areas like mathematics, electronics, design, social science, and bioscience.
