Ex-Google AI head to lead Apple's Siri, machine learning teams
Apple has appointed former Google AI chief John Giannandrea as the head of its various artificial intelligence divisions. He will lead the machine learning division, the Siri team and the Core ML team at Apple. Core ML is the machine learning API released by Apple. Compared to other tech companies, the Cupertino tech giant has been lagging behind in artifical intelligence technology due to various reasons. With Giannandrea heading its AI divisions, Apple might be able to make significant progress in the segment.

HTC's blockchain phone, Exodus, to be launched this Fall
In an official statement, HTC announced that it will launch its blockchain-based phone, the Exodus, this Fall. While not much is known about the device, you can sign up to a wensite to receive latest updates about the project. Being a blcokchain-based device, th HTC Exodus will allow users to store their encrypted data locally on the device along with their cryptocurrencies, while giving their control over their private keys. We might also see decentralised applications and app store.

Huwaei Nova 3 comes with Kirin 970, four cameras
Before its official launch on July 18, Huawei has listed the Nova 3 on VMall, effectively unveiling it. The listing shows that the Huawei Nova 3 will come with Kirin 970 chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM and two dual camera set-ups, one at the front and the other at the back. The rear dual camera set-up has a 16MP RGB sensor and a 24MP monochrome sensor, whereas at the front there are 24MP and 2MP sensors. The screen is a 6.3-inch panel with a notch at top. While the lisiting does not reveal the pricing details, the Huawei Nova 3 will be available for pre-order till July 19, after which it will be up for sale on both online and offline channels.
