A stretch of road in Delhi's Anna Nagar near ITO collapsed after just a couple of hours of rainfall on Sunday morning. In a video that has since gone viral, one can see a huge hole which used to be a road at one point. Water can be seen gushing in from the areas nearby into the hole. People can be heard asking the residents to vacate the houses, as they predict the houses are moments away from collapsing inside the sinkhole. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that although coronavirus cases in Delhi seemed on the rise, most of the cases were mild that did not require hospitalisation. He added that most of the Covid hospital beds in Delhi were lying vacant as the patients did not require hospital treatment. Days after Delhi government officials met Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the rising cases of coronavirus in the national capital, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that the coronavirus testing had increased more than three times, from 5,000 to 18,000 per day. Kejriwal added that the coronavirus patients, who are under home isolation, will be provided with pulse oximeters to measure their oxygen levels every few hours, The patients can return it to the government once they have completely recovered from the infection. The Delhi government has commenced COVID-19 testing through rapid antigen methodology at 169 centres in and around containment zones of the city. A total of 341 teams are involved in the rapid-antigen testing that provide results within 30 minutes. A certificate will also be issued to those getting tested at various centres, subject to clearance from AIIMS and the Indian Council of Medical Research.
