In presence of Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, six air force fighter jets touched down upon the air strip built on the expressway.

Highlighting works done by his government,  Uttar Pradesh state Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said work on Agra-Lucknow expressway has been completed in two years.

Officials said Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has given his nod to the project that envisages the mono rail covering the 200 km distance between Noida and Agra in an hour.
