Share Market Update: Domestic equity benchmark indices closed marginally higher, after a volatile trading session today.

The 30-share index ended 341.90 points, or 0.95 per cent, at 36,213.38; while the broader Nifty soared 88.45 points, or 0.82 per cent, to conclude the session at 10,880.10 after shuttling between 10,887.10 and 10,788.05.

On February 25, 2009,  Bajaj Finance share price closed at 5.41 level compared to today's close of 2,659 level on the BSE.

Consumer durables and capital goods stocks led the losses with their BSE indices falling 105 points and 71 points, respectively.

Tech Mahindra share price rose 3.49% to 840.10 level compared to the previous close of 811.75 on the BSE. Tech Mahindra share opened at 814 level on BSE today.

Aarti Industries share price rose 9.33% to Rs 1,431.45 level intra day compared to the previous close of 1,309.30 on the BSE. Aarti Industries share price has gained after three days of fall. During the last one year, Aarti Industries has gained 22% during the last one year and has fallen 1.71% since the beginning of this year.

Tata Steel share price was trading above its 50-day moving average of 474 and below its 200-day moving average of 542.37 levels, respectively. The turnover for Tata Steel share rose to Rs 7.61 crore with 1.54 lakh shares traded on the BSE.
