Nokia 5.1 Plus, Nokia 6.1 Plus launched in IndiaHMD Global has launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus in India. The Nokia 5.1 Plus will go on sale in September, whereas the Nokia 6.1 Plus is already available for pre-order on Nokia.com/phones. The 6.1 Plus will go on sale on August 30. The device comes with a 5.8-inch FullHD+ display with a notch and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The camera get one 16mp lens and another 5mp lens. The device is priced at Rs 15,999 and will also be available on Flipkart.Oppo launches F9 and F9 Pro in IndiaOppo has launched the Oppo F9 Pro and Oppo F9 in India. The device sport one of the smallest notches on any Android device but the USP of the device is its charging capacity. With the help of VooC technology, Oppo F9 Pro can charge enough for two hours of usage within 5 minutes. The Oppo F9 Pro is priced at Rs 23,990 and the Oppo F9 is priced at Rs 19,990.Google sued for tracking user despite turning off location historyGoogle seems to be in trouble yet again. A man from California has sued the search giant for tracking him despite his turning the location history. This could turn into a class action suit if more people with a similar issue come up with accusations. Google has not responded to the accusations but it seems they have changed the information on the support page.

Xiaomi launched the Mi A2, Mi A2 Lite at an event in Spain's MadridXiaomi finally took the wraps off the new Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, the second generation of Android One phones by the Chinese company. The company held the launch event in Spain's Madrid and showcased their latest global smartphones. Both Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite have been launched in China as Mi 6X and Redmi 6 Pro respectively. The new phones will focus on western and European markets. Android One's stock interface will be familiar to most consumers in these new markets. Xiaomi started the new series in India last year with the Mi A1 and later pushed out to other markets as well. Now, the new series plans on furthering the global reach of the line-up.Price: The Mi A2 is priced at 249 euros (roughly Rs 20,000) for the base model with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant is priced at 279 euros (roughly Rs 22,500). The most expensive device cost 349 euros (roughly Rs 28,100) with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.Honor 9N launched in India at a price of Rs 11,999Huawei's sub-brand Honor has launched an all-new Honor 9N to re-establish its presence in the mid-range segment. The new Honor 9N will go on sale at noon on July 31 and will be available on Flipkart. Honor 9N comes at a price point where it stands against industry giants like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Asus Zenfone Max Pro. The smartphone will come with a notch display and a tall form factor. It seems Huawei won't be launching its successor to Honor 9i as the 9N is similar to what the brand had launched in the Chinese market this year.The Honor 9N comes with a 5.84-inch display with a FullHD+ display panel. The new phone has a Full View display with a notch on top. According to Honor, the notch can be disabled by using settings of the device. Along with the notch, the phone's aspect ratio is 19:9.Samsung, Google smartphones ahead of Apple iPhones in internet download speedWhile Apple devices come with a premium price tag and a brand value that other smartphone brands envy, there are a few aspects where the Android counterparts are more reliable. Statistics strongly suggest that Samsung and Google devices offer faster download speeds than Apple.According to data from Ookla LLC, Samsung's Galaxy S9 phones had an average download speed of 38.9 megabits per second across carriers in the US. The result was based on 102,000 tests conducted over the past three months. Galaxy S9+ delivered speeds of 38.4 Mbps. The iPhone X, in contrast, downloaded data at 29.7 Mbps, based on 603,000 tests. The iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 provided similar speeds of 29.4 Mbps and 28.6 Mbps respectively.
