The tables have turned. It was not so long ago that broadcasters were at the receiving end.  When there were mainly analog distribution networks, which at best could accommodate 90-odd channels, broadcasters were at the mercy of cable operators who charged them hefty carriage fees to beam their channels, given that bandwidth was limited.
