Facebook introduces new page called MemoriesFacebook has launched a new page which is similar to the 'On this Day' feature that often pops up on subscriber's News Feed. The new feature will recap posts and images shared a while ago. Facebook will try to keep bad memories at bay by tracking for keywords in the comment section. This new feature will ideally just share happy memories on your Feed. These posts can be shared further with friends and groups. The company was expected to launch the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Plus but the company only revealed two devices at the event.Xiaomi took the wraps off budget phone Redmi 6A and the Redmi 6. The company had a few surprises planned with both the smartphones. For one, both devices, despite being entry level smartphones, come with AI-enable face unlock feature. Secondly, the phones are not powered by a Snapdragon chipset, instead, Xiaomi chose to go with MediaTek chipsets for the next generation devices. We are still unsure if these devices will be launched with the same chipset in India. The devices also come with a taller screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9.Apple iPhone X Plus and iPhone X SE details leaks via schematicsApple's next iPhones that will be launched this year are set to come with significant design innovations. Earlier, renders of the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus and that of the 6.1-inch budget iPhone were spotted. Now, the schematics revealing details of the size and various aspects of the design have been leaked.  Apple is rumoured to launch three new iPhones this year - the iPhone X Plus, next gen iPhone X and a budget iPhone X which is most likely to be the successor of the iPhone SE.The schematics were obtained by Forbes contributor Gordon Kelly in collaboration with case-maker Ghostek. Images show three lenses on the rear camera, indicating the phone could feature a triple camera setup on the back. However, it can't be confirmed as the iPhone X also has a similar camera setup but the third lens in the center is actually the LED flash.

Redmi Y2 launched with AI selfie camera at Rs 9,999Xioami launched the Redmi Y2 in India today. This is the re-branded Redmi S2 that was launhed in China last month, and the successor to the selfie-centric Redmi Y1. The selling point of the Redmi Y2 is the 16MP selfie camera that sits under a five-element, wide-angle lens. Xiaomi claims that the front snapper on Redmi Y2 has AI capabilities that can be used for better low light photography, auto HDR, AI Beautify and AI portrait selfies. At the back is a dual camera setup with 12MP and 5MP sensors, similar to what has been seen on the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Redmi Y2 has a Snapdragon 625 processor under the hood which is coupled with either 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The 3GB variant will be available at Rs 9,999, whereas the 4GB variant at Rs 12,999. The Redmi Y2 will go on sale on June 12 at 12:00 pm on Xiaomi's official website Mi.com and Amazon.in, along with Mi Home outlets and through Xiaomi preferred partners.Moto Z3 Play launched, will come to global markets this monthMoto Z3 Play has been launched in Brazil with support for all the exisiting Moto Mods. The latest offering in Motorola's Z-series comes with a 6-inch super AMOLED 18:9 FullHD+ screen without any changes to the footprint when compared to its predecessors. The Moto Z3 Play runs a Snapdragon 636 coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. It has a dual camera at the back with 12MP and 5MP snappers, and a 8MP sensor at the front. The Moto Z3 Play will be sold in Brazil with the Battery Mod for R$2,299, which translates to Rs 40,000, and will reach other markets by this month. The exact India launch date, however is unclear.Android P beta 2 available for Google Pixel devicesThe second beta version of Android is now available for Google Pixel devices. It comes with final application programming interface (API) and official software developer's kit (SDK). The second Android P beta can be downloaded as an over-the-air software update on devices already running the first beta version. It will be released for other devices that are part of the Android Developers' Programme.

1. Vivo NEX specs leaked online ahead of launch on June 12Design details and specifications of Vivo NEX have been leaked online before its launch on June 12. This is the production-ready version of Vivo's concept phone Apex which was showcased earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress.The front of the Vivo NEX is dominated by a screen with a slight chin and no notch. The sensors have been placed under the screen, whereas the selfie camera is housed in a periscope-like extension which pops out of the top of the phone. Taking a cue from Vivo Apex, the NEX is likely to feature an under-screen fingerprint scanner.Leaks suggest that there will be two variants of the Vivo NEX - a high-end flagship NEX S and an upper mid-range NEX A. The specifications of the latter were leaked recently, leaving nothing to imagination.The Vivo NEX A is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 710, coupled with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will have a 6.59-inch Full HD+ screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9 or 20:9.While the Vivo NEX will be launched in China on June 12, a global launch is expected later.2. Xiaomi to launch Redmi 6 line-up on June 12Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the Redmi 6 line of smartphones in China on June 12. The Chinese tech giant released the poster for the launch event on Chines microblogging site Weibo.One of the new Redmi smartphones, which could either be the Redmi 6 or Redmi 6A, have already been spotted on the Chinese certification site TENAA. According to the listing, the new Redmi 6 phone will have a HD+ screen with 18:9 screen. It will be powered by Snapdragon 625 under the hood.Another bigger Redmi 6 variant, which could either be a Pro or Plus, has also been spotted online. This device is likely to come with Full HD+ screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9, which means it will be first Redmi device with a notch. This smartphone will be powered by an octa-core processor, although we do not know which one.Xiaomi is yet to declare a date for India or global launch of the upcoming Redmi 6 line-up.3. Google Lens gets a standalone applicationAndroid users will be able to access Google Lens using a standalone applications. This means that the AI-based visual assitant can be accessed directly from the home page without going to the Google Assistant or Google Photos. Google has made the standalone Google Lens application available with certain smartphones only for now. The serach giant had declared at the Google I/O that it will incorporate the Google Lens with camera apps of other smartphone manufacturers like Nokia, Xiaomi, Sony, OnePlus, Asus and more.
