Share Market Updates: Shedding gains of the trading session Wednesday, benchmark indices closed in the red. Other major indices gave up all intraday gains to turn negative in trade as well.

Share Market Updates: The Indian equities ended lower in choppy trade for the eighth stright session on Friday, tracking weak cues from Asian peers.

VK Sharma, Head Private Client Group & Capital Market Strategy at HDFC Securities said,\" Reliance saw profit booking as the company unveiled its foray into the broad band services known as 'Jio Giga Fiber'.  This is a smart move by the company in a sector that has not seen keen penetration. The stock had risen 6% in the run up to the AGM, so a correction was not out of place.\"

At 1:43 pm, the stock was trading 0.40% higher at 1,011 level.  The stock which opened at 1007.50 level on the BSE rose to its all-time high of 1023.50 on BSE.  The stock has been gaining for the last four days and has risen 3.72% during the period. The stock is up nearly 11% since the beginning of this year and has risen 47.11% during the last one year.
