The Redmi 4A comes with 28 GB of 4G data from Idea Cellular. Users will have to recharge with Rs 343 to get 1 GB data per day for the valid period of 28 days. Up to 300 daily minutes of talk time is also on offer. 

The pre-order system is meant to let customers purchase Xiaomi's signature products without waiting for flash sales.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A will go on sale today on Amazon.in. The device will be the successor to Redmi 3S but in a cheaper plastic shell. Following the usual way Redmi series devices sell out, Redmi 2A is also speculated to go out of stock quickly.

With this new plant, more than 95 per cent phones selling in India are made in India. The plants have a production capacity of manufacturing one phone per second.
