AI and robotics are gradually becoming critical in order to increase productivity at the workplace. India produces large amounts of data but the challenge is to mine it intelligently so as to be able to get the best insights. Penetration of robotics is at a very low level in India and has to be increased if India has to become more productive. In terms of industries, almost all sectors - banking, retail, government, communication - have leveraged AI across the board and used the technology to gain traction widely

The three-day non-technical programme is done under the purview of Microsoft's online AI Business School, which provides executive-level insights and practical and actionable guidance to build an end-to-end AI strategy

The survey highlights that while 77 per cent of business leaders polled agreed that AI is instrumental for their organization's competitiveness, only one-third of organizations in India have embarked on their AI journeys
