McDonald's has posted a net profit of Rs 65.2 lakh in FY17-18 in India. In 2016-17, the company's its loss surged to Rs 305 crore due to its ongoing legal battle with its subsidiary CPRL.

The legal battle between McDonald's and its India partner Vikram Bakshi, also managing director of CPRL, has been going on for five years. Its northern and eastern business is still operated by Bakshi's company, despite the company terminating the franchise agreement of 169 outlets last year.

Earlier this week, CPRL's logistics partner Radhakrishna Foodland stopped the supply that led to the shutdown of all McDonald's outlets in East India.
