The film is expected to touch Rs 100-crore mark early next week as the overall footfall for the film remains steady, thanks to its decent reviews and positive word of mouth.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the film was released on March 21 on Holi. The unlikely distribution of film over the Internet now poses a threat to filmmakers as to whether this will affect its box office collection or not.

Though the movie has garnered appreciation from people, it has received mixed response from film critics. The film has been produced at a production budget of Rs 25 crore.

Anurag Singh's directorial film has seen a mega opening across 4,200 screens all over the world, including 3,600 screens in India

Luke Chuppi has performed well in Mumbai and Delhi circuits. The film has earned over RS 20 crore in Mumbai and Rs 16.51 crore in Delhi-UP circuit.

Luka Chuppi, released on March 1, made a business of Rs 8.01 crore on its opening day and by the end of opening weekend, the romantic comedy collected Rs 32.13 crore.

Badla is an adaptaion of 2016 Spanish release-The Invisible Man. In Badla, Amitabh plays the role of a lawyer, Badal Gupta, and helps Naina (Taapsee), who has been accused of murdering a man she was having an affair with.

Badla performed better on its fifth day than the fourth. On Day 4, Badla earned Rs 3.75 crore, while on Day 5, the film raked in Rs 3.85 crore.
