Onion prices have seen a massive surge in several parts of the country as heavy downpour continues to damage crops. The price of onion has touched the Rs 100 mark in Pune, Maharashtra among other states.  According to a trader, the rise in price of onion is due to supply crunch from farms which have been affected due to heavy rains.
