International airlines are flooding the Indian markets with discounted airfares, passing the benefit of the rout in global oil prices to the consumers.

Leading global players like Qatar Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways and British Airways are encashing the opportunity of low fuel prices to woo the Indian flier, a report in The Times of India said.

British Airways is offering Delhi to New York flight tickets at as low as Rs 64,000 against the usual price of Rs 88,000. Qatar Airways on the other hand is offering flight tickets from New York to Delhi at Rs 54,000.

Online ticket booking portal Yatra said that Etihad has been offering Delhi to London/London to Delhi ticket at Rs 21,000 instead of the earlier 41,000.

British Airways is offering tickets on the India-UK route for Rs 45,000 and return tickets from US (East Coast) at Rs 64,000 for bookings made this month, the report said.
