IndiGo posts first ever quarterly loss since listing

IndiGo's parent InterGlobe Aviation on Wednesday reported a loss of Rs 652.1 crore in the three months ended September as higher costs and intense competition took a toll on the bottom line.

Jet Airways said that external factors such as crude price, rupee devaluation and pricing environment necessitate change in the airline's operations.
The reports of Tata Group buying a large stake in the loss-making Jet Airways have set the tongues wagging.
The Jet Airways has called it an "employee-friendly" step but analysts say it indicates deeper troubles in the beleaguered airline.
The booking period for flights is 15th-16th October.
The woman crew member was closing the door for the push back when she fell from the aircraft.
