The much awaited 3G services in mobile telephony will change the way the cell phone is used in India. Beyond its basic work as a talk machine, the cell phone will enable entertainment and a whole lot of other experiences.

Most of the private telecom companies have 3G lined up, with Tata DOCOMO joining MTNL and BSNL as the first ones. To avail of the new offerings, your handset has to be capable of receiving 3G data.
