Indian-origin executives rise to take charge at global MNCs

The Indian economy may be struggling to retain its global footing, but Indian talent has no such problem. More and more executives of Indian origin are making a mark at the global level in multinational companies. Even software giant Microsoft Corp has an India-born vying for the top job - Satya Nadella, currently heading Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group. In the past, the rise of the likes of Indra Nooyi, Chairperson and CEO of PepsiCo, or Vikram Pandit, ex-CEO of Citibank, to top positions made headlines because such instances were rare.
