WHAT: CII Annual General Meeting and National Conference

WHAT TO LOOK FOR: Building National Competitiveness being the theme for this year's conference, expect attendance of a galaxy of leaders from industry and government. Finance minister Arun Jaitley will be the chief guest for the inaugural session. Other sessions will including speakers such as Roads Minister Nitin Gadkari, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu and Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, among a host of other ministers, bureaucrats and CEOs.
WHAT: FICCI Conference on Digital Advertising: Protecting Brand Integrity & Stimulating Content Creation
WHAT TO LOOK FOR: Sessions are aimed at online advertisers to help them protect their brand image from inadvertent association with illegal websites or by appearing alongside high-risk advertisements. Discussions will centre around piracy, fraud, malware and safeguarding their marketing Rupees/dollars.
Focus on electronics
WHAT: 6th National conference on electronics 'Make in India'
WHAT TO LOOK FOR: Electronics is one of the key focus areas for the government's Make in India initiative. The conference will involve participation of some of the biggest players in electronics hardware industry.
