Bharti Airtel, Unichem among top 6 stocks that buzzed on Dalal Street today

In a volatile trading day, the S&P BSE Sensex on Monday settled the day flat, while the broader Nifty50 ended below its key 8,100-mark.

The headline indices swung between gains and losses, as investors continued to digest the fallout of Britain's decision to leave the European Union and as cement makers and agriculture-related firms rose on forecast of an extended monsoon season.

Key stocks that buzzed in today's trade:

1)Bharti Airtel: Shares of Bharti Airtel declined  1.07 per cent on BSE after the telecom major Bharti Airtel and Malaysian firm Axiata have deferred the agreement for merger of their Bangladesh operations till September 26, 2016.

2)JSW Steel: Shares of JSW Steel settled the day 0.41 per cent up on BSE to Rs 1389.50 after the company has received the environmental clearance for setting up an integrated steel unit and captive power plant in Jharkhand with an investment of Rs.350 billion.

3)Axis Bank: Shares of Axis Bank closed the day 0.76 per cent up on BSE after the Private lender is seeking shareholders nod to raise Rs.35,000 crore through multiple instruments including green bonds and from overseas markets, says report.

4)Unichem Laboratories:
Shares of Unichem Laboratories surged 2.37 per cent on BSE after the company announced that it has received ANDA approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets USP.

5)Tata Teleservices: Shares of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) ended the day 1.23 per cent up on BSE after the comapny will raise up to Rs 3,000 crore from its promoter Tata Teleservices through allotment of preferential equities.

6)Adani Enterprises: Shares of Adani Enterprises closed the day 1.68 per cent up on BSE after the flagship company of the Adani Group, said that it has raised Rs 150 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures on private placement basis.
