Oppo has launched two new earphones in India to expand its audio product portfolio. The latest earphones from the company include the Enco W31 truly wireless earbuds and the Enco M31 neckband earphones. The former was announced alongside the Enco Free truly wireless earbuds back in March along without availability specifics while the M31 is the latest Bluetooth-enabled earphones to have joined the family. Oppo is already working on the successive models of its truly wireless earbuds and we may see them launching in India soon.
Oppo W31 earbuds cost Rs 3,999, come in Black and White colours, and will be available to buy on Amazon starting May 15. The Oppo M31 neckband earphones, on the other hand, are cheaper and priced at Rs 1,999. They come in Black and Green colour options and will go on sale starting May 23 on Amazon.
The Oppo W31 truly wireless earbuds borrow their design from the Enco Free earbuds. They have an in-ear design with swappable ear tips that are made of silicone. The earbuds come with a charging case that is circular in shape and carries a battery of 350mAh. Oppo is touting a music playback time of 15 hours and 12 hours of talk time with the charging case. They come with an in-built 25mAh battery under the hood, delivering a total of 3.5 hours of continuous music playback without the charging case. The earbuds lack wireless charging but there is a USB-C port for wired charging on W31 earbuds.
The W31 truly wireless earbuds have 7mm dynamic driver inside them, delivering a frequency range of 20Hz and 20kHz. Oppo's W31 earbuds have a low-latency transmission and a wireless range of 10 metres. The earbuds come with Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity, which enables pairing with both Android phones and iPhones. But Oppo is touting wearing detection for when the earbuds are used with Oppo smartphones running ColorOS 7 or higher. The earbuds can also sense when they have been inserted into the ears, allowing to control the music playback and manage calls. They also have touch controls for music playback, calls, and summoning the digital assistant on the paired phone.
The Oppo M31 neckband earphones have Bluetooth v5.0 for pairing with Android and iOS devices. They support LDAC for high-quality audio output over the Bluetooth connection. The earphones have a standard neckband design wherein the earbuds attach themselves magnetically. They have 9.2mm dynamic driver inside with PET titanium composite diaphragms and independent bass chambers. Oppo has also packed noise reduction functionality into the earphones to allow distinction between the voice and background noise during calls. There are swappable ear tips made of silicone available with the earphones.
