Telegram, the-cloud based messenger app that goes big on privacy, has brought in new features with its latest update. These features are focused on enabling the group and channel admins to make their forums interactive and safer than before, as Telegram puts it. These features will also help in easily managing shared content. Let's look at all the new bundled features Telegram has introduced.
Channel Comments: Telegram has also launched a new feature called channel comments by adding a comment button to posts on channels with discussion groups to make it more interactive. Users can leave their feedback or reply in comments to channels limited by the admins. Further, Telegram noted that these discussions can take place only on channels where a separate Discussion Group is linked within the Channel. Users are redirected to a separate group where they can see and reply to the comments made by their fellow members, and it becomes easier for the admins to manage.
Users can enable enable discussions in their own channel by heading to Channel Settings > Discussion.
Anonymous Group Admins: Telegram has extended to Groups the anonymous admin feature that was already available in Channels. The Anonymous Group Admins feature could turn any admin's identity anonymous in a Group and all the messages sent by the admins on the Group will be reflected in the name of the Group itself.
Animated pop-ups and stickers: Telegram has also added a few animated pop-ups for Android users where they can see new animation while deleting messages, saving media, or changing notifications. Hiding the keyboard, or switching between day and night themes has been made more convenient as it can be done from the left menu. Telegram has also added more animated emojis for users to share among their contacts.
