HP launches new Pavillion laptops that use recycled and ocean-bound plastics

HP on Wednesday announced an update to its Pavilion laptop range. The company has launched HP Pavilion 13, HP Pavilion 14, and HP Pavilion 15 laptops in India. The new laptops are the company's first consumer notebook range that uses post-consumer-recycled and ocean-bound plastics.
The Pavilion laptop range also comes in a new tonal colour-blocking design and pack 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics.
The company explains that the new HP Pavilion notebooks feature the post-consumer recycled and ocean-bound plastics in the speaker housing construction. It claims that these devices are estimated to keep approximately 92,000 plastic bottles out of the oceans and landfills.
The outer boxes and fibre cushions used in packaging the new devices are also 100 per cent sustainably sourced and recyclable. The laptops are also EPEAT Silver registered, and Energy Star certified.
The HP Pavilion Laptop 13 (bb0075TU) is available at a starting price of Rs 71,999 and comes in a 13-inch screen size, as the name mentions. It will be available in i5 and i7 variants with 1TB SSD and Silver/ Ceramic White colours.
The HP Pavilion Laptop 14 (dv0053TU) is available at a starting price of Rs 62,999 and comes in a 14-inch screen size. It will also be available in i5 and i7 variants with a 1TB SSD option. It comes in Silver/ Ceramic White and Tranquil pink colours. The HP Pavilion Laptop 14 (dv0084TX) is available at a starting price of Rs 67,999 and comes in a 14-inch i5 GFX powered with Iris Plus GFX. It comes in Silver colour.
The HP Pavilion Laptop 15 (eg0103TX) is available at a starting price of Rs 69,999 and comes in a 15-inch i5 GFX powered with Iris Plus GFX. It will be available in Silver/Ceramic White and Fog Blue colours.
All the new laptops come with Wi-Fi 6 support. HP says that with Wi-Fi 6, the Pavilion laptops enable up to four times faster maximum Wi-Fi speeds and 75 per cent lower latency. All the updated Pavilion models come with HP dual speakers tuned by B&O for a better audio experience. There's also the HP Wide Vision HD Camera that features an 88-degree, wide-angle field of view for video calls.
The HP Pavilion 13 laptop comes with a 13.3-inch display and measures 16.9mm thin. The company claims it can offer up to 9 hours of HD video streaming. The HP Pavilion 14 laptop features a 14-inch screen and sports a thin profile that measures 17mm. The company claims it can offer up to 9 hours of HD video streaming. The HP Pavilion 15 laptop features a 15.6-inch screen and measures 17.9mm thin. It is claimed to offer over 9 hours of HD video streaming platform. It also comes with NVIDIA GeForce MX350 or AMD Radeon graphics options.
